Cancun

Welcome to Cancun!
Ok, well maybe it's not exactly the same as being there, but they do say a picture can be worth a thousand words!

This is us, awaiting our departure from LAX.
I'm smiling there....
Can I tell you that I spent a small percentage of time smiling on the airplane? You see it had been quite awhile since I had boarded an airplane. A previous experience had left me with somewhat of a hesitant spirit when it comes to flying the friendly skies...

1. tur-bu-lence:

the quality or state of being turbulent; violent disorder or commotion.

...you see, I even view that statement as kind. I am all for the convenience of flying, the turbulence, however, I can live without. Perhaps there is an airline out there that advertises turbulence free flying? If so... I'm there!



Moving on... this is the view we had from our room...gorgeous!


One of the days we were fortunate enough to travel to a close by island: Isle Mujares. There we were able to go snorkeling and drive a golf cart around the island. In the picture above we are at the end of the island overlooking a cliff about 90 miles away for Cuba.


All in all it was a wonderful trip! Cancun was beautiful, but the company was my personal favorite.
