Welcome

My photo
I am married to a wonderful man & the proud Momma to one handsome little man. Saved by God's grace, I pray that my life is glorifying to the Lord on a daily basis--but know that I fall short quite often. Currently I am finding my way in the most rewarding/challenging job I've ever had; that of a SAHM. Welcome to my life!

Something Old, Something New...

...Something Borrowed, Something Blue.

This probably wasn't what you expected to see upon first glance at the title. I found this little gem of a picture as I browsed through my many files on the computer. So here we go:

Something old: How I feel! Looking at this in all of its preciousness (is that a word?) Dear sister looks about 3 here which would make me about 5 1/2 years old. Bless our hearts! I have shoe envy because I think the black ones really complete the look, although the white ones elongate me (does that matter when you're five?).
Something new: Sister usually likes my blogs- probably not after this one :)
Something borrowed: Noel says I used to tell her she was adopted- I don't recall this, but it is completely possible considering how witty I was.
Something blue: They don't make dresses like those anymore! Circa early 90's, folks. Probably from Mervyn's.  Mom used to say "Let's go get something pretty at Mervyn's." Then on the way home she'd say we had one more quick stop and Noel and I would find ourselves at the doctor's office getting shots, wondering how we could've been so blind!
But I digress...

Hope you enjoyed my walk down memory lane!

NO WAY! Can you please wear those again. I'll pay you. It's nice that Noel leaves you comments, that is true sisterly love!

Hallie.. I almost reconsidered blogging when I saw that "Phil" wanted us to wear those dresses again. HAHA! Yes, Noel's the bestest! (I know that's not a word, but it works).
