Our sweet boy is 1/2 a year old! Sweet Evan, you bring such joy and excitement to our lives. We are truly blessed to have a son like you. There is so much we have learned as parents in the last six months and yet we are well aware that's just a drop in the bucket! So here is a little more on you at this stage:
1. First and foremost, you still love Mickey Mouse. It doesn't matter if he's on the tube with his friends, on your shirt for the day, or sitting with you in your car seat. He is the apple of your eye! If you & Mick ever have a spat, Mommy doesn't mind filling that temporary void.
2. No teeth still. LOTS of drool, but alas, no teeth.
3. We are trying to get better about calling you "Evan" in fear that you may grow up to think your name is Bubba, Bubs, Sweet Boy, Baby-Love (that's Auntie Noel's), Handsome, Tater Tot ( :0) ) etc.
4. You are outgrowing your clothes at a ridiculous rate- at least that's what our bank account tells us!
5. Avocado is "no bueno" in your book at the moment (see reaction below)...perhaps you just want some chips from Chipotle to go with it, after all they are the best. Ole!
6. The "ladies" make you giggly & shy. It's precious! ( Back off, girls).
7. You sleep in your own crib, in your own room... my heart aches. Apparently sleeping in Mommy & Daddy's room till you go away to college (or something?) is frowned upon in society.

Jaydie is now telling us he prefers to be called Jayden. When did I give him permission to get a mind of his own? And lastly, he didn't get teeth until he was 9 months old. Such a muffin you have there!!
