It has become increasingly popular for graduates to decorate their caps in order to "stand out" from their fellow graduates...so I gave it a whirl!
***So on Thursday I headed out to the grand ol' town of Bakersfield, Ca in order to celebrate the final chapter (for now) in my lifelong journey of academics, a.k.a college graduation! Although I have had certain moments of elation, I expected to feel an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. Now don't get me wrong, I am thrilled at this milestone in my life, but I suppose what I have been feeling is just a sense of peace. I'm DONE! There was a point a few years ago when I wasn't even sure I wanted to continue with school. Thankfully, my parents would not even condone a thought such as that and thus I worked full time, lived on my own, and went to school! It's funny, all the times I spent being frazzled by working all day and then heading to school at night and now it is completed. Needless to say, whatever I may be feeling at the moment, it feels FANTASTIC! I made sure to document the whole wonderful weekend, thanks to Mom & Dad and all the family & friends that were there to help celebrate! Enjoy :0)***
