There's No Place Like Home

This is quite possibly the most exciting blog yet... Andrew & I have officially had an offer excepted on a home!!!

Although we have not been seriously looking for very long (about a month or so) we did have certain expectations when it came to this important milestone for us both:

1. We wanted to be able to afford our home and still be able to clothe & feed ourselves ( somewhat important).
2. The neighborhood would have to be someplace safe--which was something I was particularly concerned with considering our budget.
3. Finally, I suppose get a 'you just know' type of feeling- does that make sense?

Anyways-- we are happy to report that we were able to find something with those three criteria. We put in an offer last week and heard back the following day that with one minor adjustment, the offer had been accepted! Truly an answer to prayer and gift from God.
At 2 bedrooms, 2 baths-- our future casa is in need of some work, but that will give us an opportunity to put our unique touches into it to make it "ours."

So if you all think about it--keep us in your prayers! Please pray that all of the necessary inspections, papers, loans, etc go as smoothly as possible. We are so very blessed and excited to have a real home to call our own, especially just starting off!
