After quite a hiatus ( at least what's considered a lengthy absence by the world of blogging) I FINALLY have committed to sitting down in order to update my loyal readers as to what's going on in our world!
Since the last update we have been rather busy (to say the least). August was filled with wedding planning, home owner anticipation, and one of my personal favorites, VACATION! In the picture above we used our Disneyland passes and took a day together at the happiest place on earth!
Earlier in August we were able to spend some quality time in Ventura for my family's annual beach trip.

With the wedding about two months away (YIIIPPPEEE!) you'll see that Andrew and I have been actively preparing for our roles as bride & groom...
Our final Summer extravaganza consisted of visiting Andrew's Grandma down in Carlsbad. Can I just tell you how wonderful it is down there? Not only do we get to visit with family, but the weather and scenery is a nice change from that of Lancaster.
Changing paces a bit... I am writing you a few short days before Andrew's 24th Birthday! With the help of family (special thanks to Katie & Marti) I was able to pull off a surprise party last Friday...
Andrew's choice in birthday cake is particularly enjoyable...three cheers for cheesecake! Hip Hip Hooray!
And what birthday party would be complete without a pinata from Wal-Mart stuffed with Warheads, change, and a variety of Reese's? Noel & Jeremy were DEFINITELY feeling festively...
In case you were wondering... I have officially converted Andrew into a Cal fan...GO BEARS!
