Third time's the charm?

So maybe I'm not on my third apology for my lack of consistent blogging, but saying "fifth time's the charm," doesn't quite have the same ring to it, ya know? Below is a list of all of my completely valid excuses for not keeping up with this little gem of a blog in the last 9 months:

1. We didn't have internet
2. I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy (yes, I'm completely & utterly partial!).

Now perhaps those aren't good enough excuses for some, but they work for me just fine! Let's hug it out & promise to welcome each other back with open arms? Great! Now that we've cleared that hurdle...


This is Evan! Born on November 23rd 2010 at 6:23pm. He weighed in at 6lbs 8 oz and was 20 in long. My heart overflows with love for him more & more with each passing day!
I'd post some labor pictures, but it was a long process & they aren't so cute, so lets just stick with the cuteness...

He turned 3 months old this past week! Don't let the shy face fool you- he's actually quite outgoing & extremely vocal. If you don't believe me, come by one day while I attempt to do nap time with him ;0)

He is a precious little boy! His smile lights up the room and his laughter is contagious.
All throughout my pregnancy the ultrasound techs would comment on how he moved so much... ...bouncing, kicking, etc.
He has kept up with that movement even now & I must say it's cute to see his look of determination when he really gets going...
